World Oceans Day 2018: the Serious Consequences of Plastic Build-up in Oceans

A few days ago, a pilot whale died after 5-day rescue effort. Approximately 80 pieces of plastic waste were found in the stomach of the whale. Plastic pollution is not only dangerous for humans but is a threat to the entire ecosystem. This World Oceans Day, which is observed on 8th June, focuses on preventing plastic pollution and look for solutions for a healthy ocean.
